When I was 11 years old, I took up skating, which I started to document with my camera later on. In the course of time I realized that it was photography that I really wanted to stick to.
I set my priorities straight at high school and decided to study advertising photography at university. After four semesters, however, I left the university because I found out that I would learn much more by getting hands-on experience rather than sitting at a desk in a classroom.
I worked in Fotoškoda Centre for a year and a half, and then I started working as an advertising photographer. I have worked with multiple significant production teams and advertising agencies. I am keen on working with artificial lights that I shape to create the right light atmosphere. I like simple compositions and natural retouch.
I use a middle format Hasselblad camera for maximum details in my images. Lately I have been focusing on product photographs, portraits, and also post-production that I do myself on the majority of my photographs.
